I get this question all the time. The market has changed. It’s not as easy as it used to be, and many agents and investors are unsure if it’s still worth getting into.

Here’s the reality. The opportunity is still there, but the way you succeed has changed. And in many ways, this is actually the best time to learn.

What agents are really worried about right now. And that leads to a bigger concern I hear from agents right now. They’re not just thinking about the market. They’re thinking about their future.

A few years ago, the market was doing a lot of the work for you. Prices were rising fast. Even if you made mistakes, you could still come out ahead. Today, that’s not the case. You have to be better. You have to buy right and manage your costs carefully.

Why now is the time to build real investing skills. Even though flipping homes is harder today, this is actually the best time to learn.

When the market is flat, you’re forced to master the fundamentals. You have to know how to spot a good deal and manage renovation costs carefully. If you get good at it now, you’ll be in a much stronger position when the market picks up.

This is also where you see the difference between skill and luck. Many people talk about how successful they were flipping homes a few years ago, but most were just riding a hot market.

To me, a real investor is someone who can succeed in any market, not just when prices are rising. It comes down to buying the right property, controlling costs, and adding real value.
