Over the years, I’ve learned valuable insights into succeeding with real estate TV advertising, which is why today, I want to share three essential tips on running a successful TV advertising campaign:
1. Be Front and Center. Advertising on TV is challenging and expensive. It requires a considerable budget and consistent presence to make an impact. People often skip commercials, so your 15 or 30-second ad needs to be compelling from the start. Avoid using endorsers, as viewers might not remember you; you need to be the star. Ensure you are front and center in every commercial, with minimal B-roll, focusing on your face, brand, and name.
2. Focus Your Budget. Don’t spread your budget too thin across multiple stations. You’ll get better deals and more impressions by concentrating on one station at a time. Larger buys with a single station result in better rates and more effective advertising, maximizing your cost per impression.
3. High-Quality Production. Invest in professional, high-quality video production. Your TV commercials should have well-written copy, great videography, and a clear call to action. Make sure your website is prominently displayed and differentiate yourself from the competition. High-quality production ensures your commercials are memorable and effective.
